Serving Size: Yields one 8 " cake
1 Preheat oven at 375° F.
2 Melt chocolate. Set aside.
3 Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
4 Cream butter well, gradually adding sugar.
5 Add softened chocolate to creamed mixture and beat well.
6 Add eggs, unbeaten, one at a time, adding a little flour with each to prevent curdling.
7 When all eggs have been added, mix in the remaining flour and beat for about 2 minutes.
8 Bake for 40 minutes.
